The Pad Certification — what it actually says.

When Wolf Transport sets your pad, we sign a scope that locks in three things: the pad is level when the building lands · the runners hold for 12 months · if a door stops aligning because the pad shifted, we come back and re-level once at no extra cost. That's the cert. Not a handshake. A contract.

  • Level guaranteed at install · we don't leave until the bubble's centered
  • 12 months of door alignment · doors swing true · they latch like they should
  • One re-level included · within the certified year, on us
  • Photo + signed scope · documented at install · accessible on request
  • Transferable · sell the property mid-year · the cert goes with the building
The Technical Spec
Confirmed with the delivery drivers. This is how a pad is supposed to go in.
Runner Spacing Every 6 feet on center. Evenly distributed load across the floor system. Even wear on every joist.
Skid Clearance Lane 4 feet minimum between two skids on at least one side. Lets the building mule drive through without breaking down the pad on arrival.
Floor System 2×6 floor joists running horizontal across the runners. Standard portable building build.
Subfloor 5/8″ plywood (or OSB on some builds) over the joists. Distributes weight to the runners — runners distribute to the bricks.
Brick Layout Pallets staged so runners line up clean. Off-center placement on one corner accommodates the mule path. No improv on delivery day.
Off-Ground Clearance Floor sits well off the ground. Wood stays dry. Critical in monsoon country and on grades.
Why This Cert Exists
Sheds rock. Doors stop closing. Floors squeak. The pad is the reason — every time.

A portable building is only as level as the day you walked away from it. Six months in, the soil shifts. The bricks settle. One corner drops a quarter inch. Suddenly the door drags, the latch misses, water finds a low corner, the floor squeaks under the bed in the loft. Every one of those problems traces back to the pad.

The fix is easy if you have a guy. Most people don't. They live with a slow-rocking shed and a door that doesn't latch right because nobody told them what re-leveling costs or who to call. We're the guy. We built the cert so you don't have to ask.

"Imagine somebody calls — 'Hey, do you have anybody who comes out and re-levels buildings? My door doesn't work good. Anybody who can just fix a door real quick?' That's what I'm trying to tap into. We get all those leads, we already work with four contractors. The cert just makes it official." — Wolf Transport · why the cert exists
When to Call Us Back
If any of this happens inside the year, that's a re-level call.

One call · we send a tech · we re-level if the pad's the cause. Inside the cert window, the visit is on us.
